The journey of building your dream home starts with meeting with one of our new home consultants. Whether it is at an open house or through a meeting you set up, our new home consultants are eager to learn about you and your home needs. During the custom build process, your new home consultant will be your guide though the process and will be available to help in any way they can.

Our custom home building process allows us to be flexible in designing unique spaces to fit your individual lifestyles. From our move-in ready designs to completely custom homes, creating these spaces begins with a design consultation with our builder. We want you to be involved throughout the process so we can turn your dreams into a reality.

Once your designs are decided, the fun begins by selecting your finishes with our interior designer. At Michael Lee Homes, we believe you should be involved in every decision when creating your custom home, which is why we make use of an expanded assortment of materials and suppliers to provide you with an unmatched degree of choice. Our motto is simple: if you want it, you can have it.

The first is always the most exciting, your dream home is within reach! At this stage, we break ground on your lot, pour the footings and prepare the home for framing.

Your home is starting to take shape. Whether you are building a custom home or have selected on of our ready-to-build designs, our experienced team of builders will ensure your new home is built exactly how you want it.

At this point, we are installing all the pieces which make your home a comfortable place to live. From your plumbing and HVAC to the electrical outlets and smart home technology, you can be certain your home will operate just how you want it to.

After mechanicals are installed, inspections are passed, and insulation is put in place, the drywall process begins. With drywall, rooms start to separate, and you can finally get a feel for how your house is going to look.

For most clients, this is the most interesting point in the process, all the finishes are being put into place. From flooring and cabinets to countertops and appliances, this is when all the pieces come together, and your home is almost perfect.

The final couple weeks are where we bring in our builders to put the final details on your new home. We do everything from a top to bottom cleanout to the final inspection and certification all to confirm your new home is ready for you to enjoy. Once the house is ready, we conduct a new home orientation with you and one of our builders to verify your needs have been met and you understand how everything works.
