We can design a new plan with all the features and modifications that you may need now and looking forward to the future needs. Now that we have your furniture measurements we can have David fit this within our design. This process for re-designing a plan and getting a price quote typically takes a week.
During this week, let’s meet and discuss selling your home. Knowing what you can price your current home in the market today based on its location and condition. We will access it from various angles to ensure you can list it for the most money and within the time frame that you have allowed for the build time. During this time, we will also discuss photography, social marketing, staging, buyer negotiation and pre-inspection for your home. If you haven’t sold a home within the last 5 years, you need to be educated on the market and we will do this for you within this week so you have a good understanding.
Once our pricing and new revised plans are back, we will review with the builder, reserve your lot and proceed with our build agreement. This process begins with our design appointment and an on-site meeting with our superintendent on the job, aka. Kyle, to ensure you know what the process is and how your home will fit on this home site with all of the features that you have chosen.
The building process will begin so we can take this opportunity to get your home ready. This includes de-cluttering by taking inventory of what you will keep or purchase new. A good rule of thumb, if you haven’t seen or used it within the last year, you can do without it. For those items that you can live without, recycle at our many recycle center, donate, give to friends or family or sell the items on an online site or have a garage sale.
Many people think this time will be stressful, but really, I have found the opposite.
