Parade Model Spotlight #247

Housing first Minnesota is presenting the fall parade of homes. Parade of homes has been running since 1949. This event is a free home tour events that showcases the variety homes and shows attendees what is possible in a new home. This is the last week of the Parade of Homes, with the parade ending October 4th  the parade will be open Thursday through Sunday 12pm-6 pm.

For the last week of the parade and for our last featured house we have another custom design. This design is being built in the neighborhood of Parkview Pointe. Parkview Pointe is an amazing growing community and this house is just another great addition to this neighborhood. Right away when pulling up to this home you will notice the dark color of its exterior that is contrasted by cedar accents with the garage doors and trim. The outside is just the beginning with this house. When walking into this home you will walk through a glass door and into the foyer, from the foyer you will notice the large open floor plan. This design is perfect for both entertainment and family time. The great room is also lined with picture windows to allow natural light to flow throughout the space. All the windows are  black trim windows to complete the dark exterior look. Heading upstairs you will notice three bedrooms plus a loft and bonus room. Two rooms being connected with a Jack and Jill style bathroom. The bonus room is your flexible room in this house and could be used for anything between a playroom, secondary family space, or even another bedroom. This room would also be perfect for a guest bedroom. Having the separation of the loft giving you guests a little more privacy.  All bedrooms in this home include a walk in closets which is also another bonus.  The Owner’s Suite has vaulted ceilings that flow into a bathroom and end in a huge walk in closet. This home really showcases the option you have for your family and what can be achieved when you build with Michael Lee Homes.
