Well, it’s that time of the year again. The Spring Parade of Homes begins this weekend just in time to kick off the home buying season. This year Michael Lee Homes is showcasing two models in the parade, one in the Saddle Club and one in Easton Village, as well as a remodel project in Woodbury. Step One: Get the Book
This has to be the first step. How can you know what you want to see if you haven’t picked up the guide? Inside you’ll find articles about what’s happening in new home construction. You’ll get a glimpse into the industry, learn about new technologies, and say up-to-date with the newest trends. In the second half, you’ll find a comprehensive list of all the 427 homes in the Parade and a handy map for directions. You can find the Parade of Homes guidebook at your local Holiday Station stores.
Step Two: Make a Plan
You don’t want to miss out on the best homes the parade has to offer so you’ll want to plan your trip. The parade of homes site has a great tool for choosing and mapping out the perfect route. This way you can hit up multiple neighborhoods to find some hidden gems while still making your way to your must-see homes.
Step Three: Take Pictures and Make Notes
Whether you are looking to build, buy, or just decorate, that Parade of Homes is the perfect place to get new ideas to transform your living space. Just make sure you take snap some photos and take some notes along the way. As a custom home builder, we love it when clients enter the process with their own ideas and think we build the best home when our customers have a clear idea of what they want.
Finally: Don’t Forget About the Last Weekend
This is a bit extra, but don’t forget about the Remodeler’s Showcase the final weekend of the Parade. It’s only on the last weekend of March and it’s a great opportunity to see what local builders are doing with existing homes. If you love the neighborhood your in but think your home needs a bit of a face-lift, then this is just for you. Michael Lee Homes is showcasing one of its recent remodeling jobs in Woodbury, so come see how we’ve transformed the lower level of this home, breathing new life into an old look.
